Find nonstop fun at one of six local casinos, open 24 hours a day. Whether a first-time gambler or a high-roller these hot spots offer excitement with live action table games and the latest in video and slot machines. While the traditional sights and sounds of blazing lights, ringing machines, and shouts of winners energize visitors vying for a piece of the action, valley casinos have become known for much more than gaming. The popular attractions have become first-class, vacation destinations.
Boasting fine and casual dining, nightly entertainment, dance clubs, spas, salons, and shopping, the casinos have quickly become popular getaways for both locals and visitors of the Coachella Valley. Many of the resorts offer upscale hotel accommodations as well.
No matter where you are, the excitement is always nearby. Casinos are scattered throughout the valley. • Spa Resort Casino in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, boasts 228 deluxe rooms, five restaurants, nightly entertainment and a full-service spa.
• Morongo Casino Resort & Spa, a four-diamond resort in Cabazon offers various hotel packages, eateries that range from Asian cuisine to buffet-style dining, various bars, entertainment, bowling lanes, and a nightclub.
• Agua Caliente Casino, Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, the latest casino to undergo a major transformation, recently celebrated the grand opening of their 340-guest room resort. The $300-million facility offers guest rooms with mountain views, nightly entertainment, a rejuvenating spa and fitness center, a steakhouse with an award-winning menu, and a 50,000 square-foot pool and cabana complex. • At Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, guests can dine at one of seven eateries, golf at the 18-hole course, or lounge and swim in the resort’s 103-foot pool. The 250-room luxury hotel resort also features bowling, dancing, and entertainment. • At the east end of the valley in Coachella, guests of the Spotlight 29 Casino dance at the hip Blue Bar, attend special events at the Spotlight Showroom, and dine at various eateries, including a buffet, food court, cafe and a five-star restaurant. Also in Coachella, Augustine Casino features numerous low-limit table games, cash and prize drawings, two eateries, including a buffet; and live music on Fridays and Saturdays.
